2004 Industry Outlook - PIA Chief Economist Ronnie Davis foresees 3% - 4% sales growth from direct marketing and general commercial and quick printing in 2004. Davis identified manufacturing efficiency as a key factor in achieving this potential. Bindagraphics looks out for your interests by offering a vast array of services and duplicity of equipment. Our equipment often runs 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, to make sure your job is turned around quickly and accurately. We'll be your partner for success in 2004!

Bindagraphics Awarded Six Print Quality Awards - Bindagraphics is proud to announce that it was awarded six Print Quality Awards at the Printing and Imaging Industries of Maryland ceremony on January 15, 2004. Two Best in Category awards were given for our work on vinyl binders and finishing/binding, while two awards each were given for our die cutting and finishing and binding work.

Time is Running Out - Please call us soon with your requests for time in our adhesive binding department for your annual report - our schedule is filling up quickly - March is our busiest month! Your Sales Service Representative will be happy to assist you.

Last Call for Binda U - Our next Binda University post-press seminar will be held on Friday, February 13, 2004 at our Baltimore facility. Don't miss your chance to learn how to plan your job for the bindery, see the types of folds offered, choose the proper type of embossing die, watch the adhesive binders in process, and much more. For more information or to register, please contact Dara McBee at 1-800-326-0300 or dmcbee@bindagraphics.com.

Quotable Quote - "The U.S. Constitution doesn't guarantee happiness, only the pursuit of it. You have to catch up with it yourself."

--Benjamin Franklin (1706 - 1790)

Technical Tip - PUR glue can adhere even to those jobs with heavy-coated stock running against the grain. PUR glues are also virtually unaffected by the migration of printing ink vehicles and will not dissolve when exposed to alcohol, toluene or gasoline.

Feature Item of the Month - It may look simple from the outside, but there is a surprise in the February Feature Item. In the middle of this 84-page perfect bound book is a 40-page step down! Four staggered page sizes create this user-friendly feature. To see a photo of this item, please visit our website at www.bindagraphics.com.
